Download the Preset File

First, navigate to the Presets page and find the preset you wish to use. Click on the preset card to download the .json file.

Some browsers might load the .json file directly in the browser, in which case you press the save button as soon in the image to the left.

Ensure you save it to a location you can easily access, such as your Downloads folder.

Open AI Reponse Configuration

Launch SillyTavern and open the AI Response Configuration

This is found by clicking the sliders icon in the top left corner of the application.

Import the Preset File

If you're using the Chat Completions API (and you should be, as all the presets on SillyCards are built for chat completions), you should now be looking at a menu titled Chat Completions Presets

Find the Import Preset button and click on it to open your filebrowser. Navigate to to the .json you just downloaded and double click to import it into SillyTavern.

Select and Use Your Preset

Expand the presets drop-down menu and find the preset you just imported.

Select it to activate the preset.

Select the Correct Model and Enjoy!

Open the API Connections tab (plug icon) and select the model that the preset was built for.

Load up your favorite card and enjoy!
